SAP FICO CKMLCP Costing cockpit error : Close previous period for material first

 In the SAP system, we encountered an error last month, and unfortunately, the same error in CKMLCP persists this month (Dec). This has become an extremely urgent case since we are required to run cost calculations today for the preparation of the financial statement. These cost calculations are crucial for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting. 

The error is preventing us from obtaining the correct cost data, which in turn may lead to inaccurate financial statements.

Solution:

Due to errors that occurred during the settlement process last month, 10 materials were left out of the settlement. As a result, when carrying out the preparation step this time, you must check the "Allow Open Status for Previous Period" option. Please make sure to verify this option before moving forward.

The user has completed the cost run after re-running the CKMLCP with the "Allow Open Status for Previous Period" option selected.
